Can my shutter be motorised?
In most cases, yes. To confirm it, we check four things. If you send us a photo of the open shutter box, we can usually tell you before the visit.
The axle
The motor slides into the shutter's axle. If the current one is damaged or isn't compatible, we replace it.
The weight of the shutter
We choose the motor's power based on the size and material of the shutter, so it runs effortlessly.
The power supply
The motor needs power at the shutter box. We go through with you how to run it there and where to put the wall switch.

We remove the strap winder, slide the motor into the axle and set the limit switches so the shutter stops exactly at the top and bottom.

Can I motorise the shutters in a rented flat?
Yes, with the landlord's permission. The motor goes inside the shutter box and doesn't change how the shutter looks from outside.
What maintenance does a motorised shutter need?
Very little: just keep the guide rails clean and let us know if you notice new noises or the shutter stopping too early.
